GRANGER — Several students from Nanwu High School in China were welcomed Jan. 14 at Highland High School for its winter exchange program with a special ceremony and breakfast.

The Highland student body officially welcomed the group Jan. 15 with an all-school assembly. A total of 15 students and four teachers are currently staying in the Highland district, along with their principal, Mr. Chen.

As in the past, the students and teachers are residing with Highland host families. Visiting students will receive a first-hand look at what life is like for an American student, as well as community life in the Highland district. They will return to China Jan. 24.

Students are shown above with their host students during the welcome breakfast.
