Revere fifth-grade girls basketball team wins tourney

BATH — The Revere fifth-grade girls basketball team won the Jared Ellsworth Celebration Tournament at Revere Local Schools.

The team won its group by beating Kenston 28-15 and Medina 29-2. They then went on to the semifinals, where they defeated Kenston 35-6, setting up a finals matchup with Wadsworth. They won the game 27-18, winning their first tournament title after earning runner-up trophies at the Green and Strongsville tournaments earlier in the tournament season.
